The Heineken Hottest 7s In The World event is held at Rugby Park, located at the Marrara Sports precinct. Rugby Park is a 3 minute drive from the Darwin International Airport and approximately 15 minutes from the CBD ($20 taxi fare).
Rugby Park boasts two first class rugby fields with lighting. The undercover Grandstand facility overlooking the main playing field can up hold up to 380 spectators. The purpose built Heineken Hut will accommodate 300 corporate clients and sponsors, the structure overlooks the main playing field and is the perfect place to enjoy a Heineken and watch the fast paced action. Additional shade is erected on the grassy knolls offering families and supporters a great place to sit back and relax.
There will be a variety of food stalls and full bar facilities will be in operation throughout the weekend.
The Marrara Indoor Sports Stadium car park at the Marrara precinct will be the designated general public parking zone. There will be a 7s precinct shuttle service in operation collecting patrons from Marrara Indoor stadium and dropping off at Rugby Park. Shuttle will run every 5 minutes. Organisers encourage patrons to consider making alternative transport arrangements. There will be a designated drop off zone for taxis and private cars located on Abala Road at the entrance to Rugby Park
Don’t miss a minute of the action as the SUPER SCREEN is back again in 2012! Located at the Abala Road end of the main playing field, the Super screen will broadcast all of the days play, results and highlights!
