Where is the Tournament held?

The Heineken Hottest 7s In The World Tournament is held at Rugby Park, Marrara Sports Precinct Darwin. Approximately 15 min drive from the CBD or if you are staying near the airport, only 5 mins.

What time do Gates open?

Gates open at 9am both days. 7s action kicks off from 10am.

What time does the event finish?

Approximately 8pm / 8.30pm.

Where can I park?

There is parking available at the Mararra Indoor Sports stadium, Larrakia Park and TIO Stadium – a short walk to Rugby Park. Corporate patrons will have designated parking.

Will there be shade setup around the playing fields?

Yes there will be shade erected on the grassy hills for spectators. The Grandstand also has approximately 300 seats and will be open on a first in best dressed basis.

How much does it cost to attend the event?

Is there seating available at the event?

There will be seating available in the Grandstand on a first in first served basis and there are some rotary stands available on the ground overlooking the main playing field.

Are Children allowed in the Heineken Hut corporate facilities?

The Heineken Hut is strictly 18+. Children will be charged at full ticket price.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

No alcohol must be brought into Rugby Park.  Catering outlets and full bar facilities are available.

Is there an ATM at the event?

Yes there will be an ATM at the venue.

Will there be merchandise available to purchase?

Yes official Hottest 7s In The World merchandise will be available for purchase at the event, courtesy of The Rugby Shop.

Will there be any activities for children?

Yes on Sunday, Life Be In It will be at Rugby Park with a variety of Children’s activities on offer.

Are there family areas reserved at the event?

There are dedicated shaded areas for families and in 2012, the main grandstand will be open to the public on a first in first served basis (no reserved seating).

Can I leave the event and then come back later?

Yes, patrons will receive a wristband upon paying admission at the main gate, keep this wristband on and it will act as your passout for the day.
