Top Interntaional Invitation Borneo Eagles to attend 2010 Heineken Hottest 7’s in the WorldThe Sandakan based Borneo Eagles will be attending the 2010 Heineken Hottest 7’s in the World following confirmation from the club this week. This will be the first time that this strong International Invitation team will make the trip to the Darwin event. The team won the Plate competition at the Singapore Cricket Club 7s in November - beating the Territory Mozzies 29-5 along the way. They also chalked up wins in 2009 at the Borneo Sevens in Kota Kinabalu and clinched the Malaysian National Super League Cup. When the Eagles won the Cobra 10s in Kuala Lumpur last month their line-up included two Samoan internationals, two under-20 All Blacks and six top club players from both NZ and Fiji. |
