Mosquitoes Strengthened by Australian Players

The NT Mosquitoes team that competed at the recent Singapore Cricket Club Seven's will be further strengthened for their home tournament with four Australian Representatives. As with previous years and as part of the Australian 7's program the Mosquitoes will include National Talent Squad players with the Australian Rugby Union. The 2010 players of Nick Phipps, Jacob Taylor, Jordan Toupou and Mitch Felsman have all represented Australian in the current 7's program or junior age, and identified as exciting future talent.

Both Nick Phipps and Jacob Taylor played for Australia at the recent IRB Series tournaments in Dubai and South Africa. Jordan Toupou recently returned from the Australian Schoolboys tour of the UK, where he was Captain and is an exciting backrower in the 15's. Finally Mitch Felsman could be the excitment machine. Mitch who is part of the Queensland program has represented Australia in youth athletics and won the Gold Medal at the 2009 Youth Althetics in Sydney.

These players will join the Mosquitoes squad to prepare for the Hottest 7's early in the week leading in and should provide a formidable team.
